• Getting to The Winsor School by Public Transportation

  By Subway

  The Winsor campus is a short walk from the "Longwood" stop on the Green Line's Riverside "D" line. Walk west on Chapel Street (up a hill) to Longwood Avenue. Turn left onto Longwood, crossing the bridge over the trolley tracks. Cross at the first set of lights onto the Riverway and turn left. Walk about one block to the light at Short Street. Turn right and the School's entrance is on your right.

  By Bus

  Several MBTA buses stop on Brookline Avenue next to the Winsor campus. When taking any of the following routes, exit at the Beth Israel Hospital East Campus, Shapiro Building stop on Brookline Avenue. The Winsor athletic fields are across the street from the Hospital. Follow the walkway between the Winsor fields and the Simmons College residential campus. Winsor's front entrance is on the left at the end of the walkway (at the intersection of Pilgrim Road and Short Street).

  • MBTA Bus #8: (Harbor Point-UMass to Kenmore Station, via B.U. Medical Center and Dudley Station).
  • MBTA Bus #47: (Albany Street to Central Square, Cambridge via the Longwood Medical Area).
  • MBTA Bus #60: (Chestnut Hill to Kenmore Square via Brookline Avenue).
  • MBTA Bus #65: (Brighton Center to Kenmore Square via Brookline Avenue).
  • MBTA Bus # CT2: (Sullivan Station to Ruggles Station via Kendall/MIT).
  • MBTA Bus # CT3: (Beth Israel Hospital - Andrew Station via B.U. Medical Center/BCH).

  By Commuter Rail or Amtrak Train

  Winsor is also accessible by commuter rail in combination with the bus or subway routes described above. From Ruggles, take any of the above buses. (Winsor faculty and staff may take a free MASCO shuttle bus from Ruggles station to the campus.) From Back Bay station, walk across Copley Square to the outbound "Green Line" MBTA stop and take the Riverside "D" train. From North Station, take to the outbound "Green Line" Riverside "D" train. From South Station, take the "Red Line" to Park Street and transfer to the outbound "Green Line" Riverside "D" train. Exit at the "Longwood" stop. • Getting to The Winsor School by Car

  Visitors' parking is to your right in front of the school. If no spots are available, additional parking can be found at the MASCO Garage (located behind the school at 375 Longwood Avenue, next to Bruegger's).
  
  

  From Route 9

  Take Route 9 East.
  At the Brookline Avenue intersection, turn left onto Brookline Avenue.
  Go to the second set of lights and turn left onto the Riverway.
  Take the Riverway to the third set of lights, where it intersects again with Brookline Avenue.
  Turn right onto Brookline Avenue and immediately turn right again onto Pilgrim Road.
  The School is at the end of Pilgrim Road.
  You can park in the parking lot to your right in front of the School.

  From Boston, Route 93 and Route 1 North

  Take Storrow Drive WESTBOUND.
  Exit at the "Fenway/Route 1 South" exit.
  Bear right onto Boylston Street, heading OUTBOUND.
  Follow Boylston Street (outbound) to the major intersection of Boylston Street and Park Drive. (The Landmark Center Mall will be on your right).
  Go straight through the intersection, (which has 3 lights), towards Brookline Avenue, and IMMEDIATELY bear right onto Pilgrim Road.
  The School is at the end of Pilgrim Road.
  You can park in the parking lot to your right in front of the School.

  From the West and the Massachusetts Turnpike

  Take the Massachusetts Turnpike to Exit 18 for Allston, Brighton and Cambridge. Stay to the right after the toll-booth.
  Take the Cambridge/Somerville fork at the exit.
  After the first set of lights and before the bridge, turn right onto Storrow Drive East.
  Head toward Boston to the third exit which is marked "Fenway/Route 1 South."
  Take the Fenway/Route 1 South exit.
  Bear right onto Boylston Street, heading OUTBOUND.
  Follow Boylston Street to the major intersection of Boylston Street and Park Drive. (The Landmark Center Mall will be on your right).
  
  Go straight through the intersection, (which has 3 lights), towards Brookline Avenue, and IMMEDIATELY bear right onto Pilgrim Road. The School is at the end of Pilgrim Road.
  You can park in the parking lot to your right in front of the School.

  From Providence, Rhode Island

  Take I-95 North to Exit 12, where it joins Route 128
  Follow I-95/Route 128 towards Dedham.
  At Dedham, take Route 1 North, heading toward Boston.
  Stay on Route 1, also known as VFW Parkway and the Jamaica Way, to the intersection with Brookline Avenue.
  
  At this intersection, the Jamaica Way becomes the Riverway.
  Stay on the Riverway until the third set of lights, where the Riverway intersects again with Brookline Avenue.
  
  Turn right onto Brookline Avenue and IMMEDIATELY turn right again onto Pilgrim Road.
  The School is at the end of Pilgrim Road.
  You can park in the parking lot to your right in front of the School.
